The Thule Aion 40L Travel Backpack features a removable roll-top bag, providing maximum capacity while still fitting within carry-on bag regulations, making it an ideal airline travel backpack.

The removable roll-top bag is lined with TPU to prevent odors, moisture, and dust from spreading to other areas of the bag. It's also easy to clean, making it perfect for storing sports gear or dirty laundry. The carry-on bag includes dedicated storage for electronics and a water bottle. The Thule Aion Sling (sold separately) can be used with this travel backpack as a hip belt, providing additional weight support and quick access to essential items.

Bluesign® certified and made from durable recycled materials

The outer fabric, lining, and mesh are all made from 100% recycled materials. The bag is constructed from durable waxed canvas that becomes more distinctive with use and features a PFC-free, water-repellent coating. All Thule Aion products are bluesign® certified, ensuring protection for workers, consumers, and the environment.
The removable TPU roll-top bag folds away when not in use, preventing odors, dust, or moisture from spreading to other areas of the bag.
Compatible with the Thule Aion Sling Bag, which also doubles as a support belt (sold separately).
A top zippered pocket keeps small items securely organized and easily accessible.
A padded storage pocket protects a 15.6-inch laptop/16-inch MacBook and a 12.9-inch tablet.
A dedicated water bottle pocket ensures secure storage and easy access.
An interior zippered pocket organizes your phone, charger, and other small items while on the go.
Internal compression straps ensure secure storage while on the go.
Exterior zipper sliders lock together for added security (lock sold separately).
The outer fabric, lining, and mesh are all made from 100% recycled polyester sourced from recycled plastic bottles.

The 600D waxed canvas outer fabric is highly durable and PFC-free. Water-repellent coating repels moisture, dust, and stains.
